Module Federation and Infrastructure Superposition

Coruña WTFSpanish

A CoruñaWTF talk on using Module Federation beyond microfrontends, toward deployment models where services materialize where they are needed.

This session looks at Module Federation as more than a microfrontend pattern: a deployment model that can reduce the operational weight of shipping software and move infrastructure closer to a dynamic, request-shaped system.

I start from the limits of classic serverless: servers still exist, regions are still fixed enough to matter, and deployment pipelines can become heavier than expected. From there, the talk explores infrastructure superposition, where services stay dynamic and materialize where they are needed instead of being pinned to a single deployment surface.
